Patrick McCloskey is the third generation owner of the traditional Irish family bakery in Drogheda, Ireland.
In 2008, Patrick starting toying with the idea of changing his ovens. The reason for this was that the bakery was moving to a new location and the oven they were using at the time could no longer be moved. He started to look for an oven which could produce the same quality products the McCloskey bakery was known for. Another important aspect that he was looking for was an oven which baked using stone plates. Patrick’s search for the right oven brought him in contact with a bakery in Germany which used a Heuft Themo-Oel oven, and allowed him to test their baking products. The quality of the bread and the ovens convinced him, and he made a decision to order his first Heuft oven. His customers later verified that decision. Since then, three more ovens have been added to support the expansion of his thriving business.
