In a loaf of Sonoma sourdough, there’s organic flour, filtered water, sourdough starter and sea salt. In the people who bake it, there’s passion, soul, hard work and integrity. Each of these is a simple recipe for enduring quality.
We used the same philosophy when we choose to buy Thermo-Oel ovens from HEUFT.

At Sonoma our passion has always been about creating excellence in bread with a continuous focus on quality and consistency and maintaining that standard each and every day without compromise.

We started baking in a 100 year old woodfired oven, so to have started from humble beginnings and to now be able to have the world’s best baking ovens and to be dealing with a small family owned company with such a long history for me was the right fit.

Our partnership with Heuft now allows us to continue to maintain our philosophy, in order to produce a remarkable product we need to match that with a remarkable oven and for me the Heuft ovens are the best and knowing we have the best oven on the market contributes greatly to ensuing that every loaf of bread we bake is outstanding.
