BELL - THE HOME OF GERMAN BAKING OVEN CONSTRUCTION
The first oven builder in our ancestral portrait gallery was Martin Heuft. He was born in 1700 and learned the trade of an oven builder. The records of the town of Andernach list him as a “Bellerstucker” (stone mason) or simply as a brick layer, as the oven builder trade was prevented from setting up its own guild at the time.
Today, Heuft – The Thermo-Oel People is one of the most prestigious and renowned oven builders in the world. The company is the market leader for thermal oil baking ovens and has repeatedly set new standards within the industry. As a global player, Heuft has branch offices and agencies in more than 20 countries all over the world.

On this road to success, we have still managed to retain the advantages of a family company rooted in tradition, with a high level of identification with the company from an extremely loyal workforce. Heuft has now reached a size where its capacities and expertise enable it to fulfil requests from customers for tailor-made units and solutions – be it in the construction of baking ovens, the dimensioning and integration of heat exchanger units, or the planning of efficient heat recovery systems. All these important design fields are in our own hands, and united under the corporate umbrella of Heuft – The Thermo-Oel People. Customers benefit from concentrated expertise from a single source.

PRACTICE
MAKES PERFECT
BELL - HOME OF TREND-SETTING INNOVATIONS IN BAKING OVEN CONSTRUCTION FOR 300 YEAR
When a company has been trading successfully for 300 years, meeting ever changing market demands, it cannot be simply put down to good luck. It is the result of farsighted leadership over many generations. Over time, requirements change and oven manufacturers can only survive, if they come up with the right innovations at the right time.
Companies steeped in tradition can draw on their experience in order to master new challenges. If for instance a new heat transfer system or a different design promises better baking results, or better economy, then we are the first to promote the new method and bring it to series production.
For the past 300 years, Bell has been the home of innovation in baking oven construction. Heuft pursues a successful corporate strategy where tradition, good design and

experience are benchmarked against the latest technical developments for continuous improvement. After all, progress means keeping the flame alive rather than collecting the ash. Innovation requires both experience and courage to question established practice. Without courage to innovate, experience has no value. This understanding of progress has been at the heart of the success of Heuft over eight generations!
