Since our decision to specialize in Thermo-Oel baking equipment, bakers who used this new technology began to get in touch with each other. Around the turn of the millennium, when Heuft had established itself as the leading supplier of Thermo-Oel ovens, there was an established community of fans of the technology consisting of bakers committed to quality who simply called themselves the Thermo-Oel bakers.
Although there is no formal association of Thermo-Oel bakers, they nevertheless are in close contact with each other to exchange information, and to discuss issues that go well beyond the topic of Thermo-Oel ovens. They communicate at all levels in a most informal manner, and to the benefit of all. In 2002, a small group of bakers were given editorial control of an issue of the “Ofenzeit”, our corporate magazine, and the bakers have since become fervent promoters of Thermo-Oel baking technology. Their passion for the technology matches ours, and their practical experience with Heuft baking ovens has turned them into enthusiastic promoters of our products.
